Freeloader For Wii Consoles

This is the one you’ve all been waiting for! Wii FreeLoader lets you play ANY region of Wii game on a US Nintendo Wii! At last, you can import games from other territories and play them on your Wii… Videogamers the world over get really frustrated when games are released in other territories long before they reach the shops in their home country, if they ever get released at all. You want to play that blockbuster survival horror which is out in Japan three months before it hits the shelves elsewhere. What about the soccer or F1 sim which only gets a European release or a gridiron football or NBL baseball game that’s never released outside the States? Or maybe you bought an imported Wii because you wanted to get it early, and you now want to play games from your own region without buying a second machine. Well, now you can. With Wii FreeLoader, you can play ANY region of game on your Wii! Wii FreeLoader is really easy to use. Simply insert your FreeLoader disc and load it in the usual way. When the drive stops, eject the Wii FreeLoader disc and insert the game, which then loads and plays just like it would on its own region of Wii. It’s as simple as that! Wii FreeLoader requires no modifications to your console. As well as letting you play Wii games from all regions, Wii FreeLoader also works with some imported GameCube games when played on your Wii. It won’t work in a GameCube console, though – for that, you need Freeloader for GameCube.

NOTE: This version of Wii FreeLoader is only for use on USA consoles. If you have a japanese console, you need to buy the Japanese Version, if you have a European console you need to buy the EURO version.

Features: Play ANY region of Wii game on a US Wii. Easy to use. No console modification required. Play games never released in your region. Play local games on your imported console. Even works with some GameCube games.

R4 DS Card

The R4DS Cartridge is the current top-of-the-line in DS SLOT-1 flash carts. It is Just an amazing little device like original DS cart size, it is a complete solution with no need to purchase any a additional components or deal with any messy software and truly the easiest media enhancer you have ever done; To simply put it, this is a must have peripheral for any regular DS / DS lite owner. Supports roms, multimedia files, or Homebrew games of any size. Directly Drags and drops all files into the MicroSD (TF) card from Computer.

R4DS also know as R4 Revolution is a next generation Nintendo DS flash card. The R4 DS seems to be the most popular NDS card at this stage, the R4DS will totaly unlock your Nintendo DS console. Watch movies, store hundreds of games all on the this little but powerful Nintendo DS flash card. The R4 DS is just an amazing little device which is the same size as the original NDS cart, the R4 DS is a complete solution with no need to purchase any additional components and is truly the easiest to use media enhancer out there. To simply put it, the R4 DS is a must have peripheral for any regular Nintnedo DS or NDS lite owner. R4DS is quite easily one of the best slot 1 Nintendo DS flash card on the market. ROM compatibility is virtually 100%, just as long as you buy the right brand of memory. Otherwise, R4 DS is 99.8%. The best memory to use would be the Kingston MicroSD range which is know to work better then Sandisk on these units.
It is safe to say that the R4 DS has been the most successful DS flash card on the market, now after 18-months of it’s release it has out sold any other flash card hands down, even though there are newer cards out and about now with some new features like MicroSDHC support, that has not stoped the sales of this great little card, the skins collection for the R4DS is also huge, there is over 5000 skins available online from various skins sites. This is kind of neat if you want to make your R4 look just like your favourite movie or game, it’s safe to say there are more skins for the R4 card then any other card on the market. Some of the skins they have on the NDSThemes website look amazing, if you go ahead and buy an R4 DS make sure to check out their skin site as you won’t be disappointed. The R4 DS GUI is newbie-friendly yet functional, which is something the competitors forgot to ensure, there will be no getting lost in menus or system settings with this card, they kept it simple yet functional like we said above, because these devices are being used mostly by children, making sure there is not a whole bunch of settings that can be unnecessary played with can be a good thing, all you see if what you need to see to play your games or movies without any fuss.
With the R4 DS they ditched their in-house media players for finally caving to the superior Moonshell and tied it into the OS, Moonshell has been known since the beginning to be the best media player for DS, it works on all cards and truly is the best option over some in-house half done media player, note that you will need to convert you AVI or MPG files to DPG format to use them in Moonshell, just do a search in Google for AVI to DPG and you will find a bunch of software that will do the converting for you. The best movies to convert to use with the R4DS would have to be Ipod movies, they are just the right resolution to be using and will convert much quicker then movies made to watch on PC’s or TV. With R4DS you will retire your Passcards or Superkeys, as the R4DS Revolution can boot any popular slot-2 Nintendo DS flash card. Skinning adds beauty to functionality. The best part is that the R4DS retails for around $60 - $80. That's around the price of a single retail NDS game card, unlike DSXtreme, the only high-rated slot 1 Nintendo DS flash card to date which retails for 3 times the cost of the R4 DS. If you choose to buy R4DS, you are choosing a definite winner in the Nintendo DS flash card arena.
Hardware wise, the build quality of the R4DS revolution is top notch, the fact you can remove the micro SD from the R4 DS without removing the whole card from the NDS slot is great. After selling thousands of these great little cards, we would be lucky to have more then a handful that became faulty, of the few we did get faulty most were DOA and very few have ever been returned after being used. They even bundled the R4DS with a couple of nice extras, the key ring card carry case and the USB micro SD card reader which are great little freebies with the R4 DS that help further justify the price tag which is already very affordable, unlike some of the carry cases that do come with other flash cards, the R4 is made of very strong plastic and is really a protective casing instead of just a cheap plastic case that really has no purpose. if you're looking for a great slot 1 Nintendo DS flash card with unlimited storage capacity using Micro SD cards, 100% ROM compatibility, complete "drag 'n' drop" & ease-of-use, huge skin collection, then we can definitely recommend you buy R4DS Revolution as your Nintendo DS flash card solution.

PSP Console Can Make Phone Call?

Sometimes it's important to assert the dominance of homebrew features over Sony's lacklustre official firmwares.
Take the forthcoming PSP phone functionality. According to various rumours, Sony will shortly announce (in a few regions of the world) some new software to allow you to make and receive phone calls with your PSP via wifi, which may or may not be based upon the popular Skype platform.
That's nice, but there are a few flaws:
It's not yet clear how much it will cost to obtain the software, to subscribe to the service, and to make calls
It's not likely to be available in all countries
It's rumoured to only run on the PSP Slim - what about all those loyal early-adopters?
It will probably only support a limited subset of possible voice platforms - e.g. maybe just Skype, which is notoriously bad at interoperating with other networks

PS3 Modchip Has Been Released Really?

This modchip supports the PS3,PS2,Xbox 360 and WiiInFeCtuS is the first versatile modchip ever released in the market, created to work with many different consoles. InFeCtuS will give you access to so many features that it's impossible to describe them all today, some are still in development and more will come in the future.
We developed this modchip with an OPEN concept, we use a CORE reprogrammable, a 512kb flash on board and an USB interface for the PC communication.
The hardware has a very HIGH QUALITY component design:
The core of INFECTUS is the new ACTEL ProASIC3 FAMILY, the new family after the famous APA075 used in the past in many PS2 projects. We used a 512Kb parallel flash SSTSF040, with a high transfer rate and performance. Finally, we have got a REAL USB2.0 processor. This high quality component can manage the communication between ACTEL and PC (mini usb connector). All of the chip PLD/FLASH/USB parts are 100% reprogrammable via USB communication. For security reasons, all of the applications stored in the flash are AES 128-bit encrypted, to protect our work against chinese market! The project is produced in Europe with the last technology of BSDL testing.
Being InFeCtuS so versatile, we want to show you at least a little part of its features, ordered by console.
XBOX360 SUPPORT:
Allows to gain total access over the XBOX360 flash driver, so that you can read and write the internal flash of any X360 DVD READER in the market.Everything can be managed with a very simple and user friendly PC software.FLASH ID realtime patching, your xbox360 cannot understand if there is any flash running other than the original one.GLOBE MODCHIP 360 100% emulation including ON / OFF LEDNME 1.2 firmware emulation (at work 80% finished). Allow you to install the chip with few wires like NME.
PS3 SUPPORT:
The first work to be done is to allow our users to flash directly the PS3 BIOS by USB. So no more problem with firmwares, you can install everything you want, when you want. All the complications due to firmware versions that cannot be downgraded will not bother you anymore. This solution will be released in the next 4 weeks!Another new feature that we want to add is a REAL TIME patching of the firmware part that you want to be emulated from the chip. Being the 512Kb flash not enough to store a real dual firmware, we'll have to wait for the first hacked firmware to understand if a "realtime" patching will be possible. In case we won't be able to find more ideas, a new version of Infectus with a memory expantion bay will be released.
PS2 SUPPORT:
Complete O2 MODCHIP emulation 100% with all functionalities (www.o2mod.com) - Included for FREEREMEMBER THAT O2 MOD ONE OF FEW MODCHIPS IN THE MARKET WITH "DNAS PATCH" AVAIABLE!!! DNAS PATCH IS NECESSARY TO HAVEN'T PROBLEMS IN ONLINE GAMING
WII SUPPORT:
Of course this is a free "bonus" in this mod because, we know, most of You wouldn't install such a big and expensive chip on a WII, but being it free... it's a good chance!WIIKEY / WIIFREE EMULATION: (under developement - 80% ready). This feature will allow you to play just everything you want on your WII.
SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT:
The possibility to manage the features using an easy software is one of the BIG advantages of this modchip solution! WIZARD help for the users: you will simply follow software's instruction step by step, everyone would be able to install and manage the INFECTUS MOD.When you will be ready to install INFECTUS on a DVD DRIVE 078 XBOX360 FIRMWARE, the software will assist you with a 100% automated extraction of the key and the patch of new firmware.WIZARD configuration based on XML for an automatical update of last firmwares.X360 FIRMWARE checksum, the software will tell you if you are actually using the correct firmware (this feature is only available in WIZARD procedure)HELP section to allow an easy searching of X360 firmwares

Something About Xbox Console

History
The Xbox was Microsoft's first product that ventured into the video game console market, after having collaborated with Sega in porting Windows CE to the Dreamcast console. Notable launch titles for the console included Halo: Combat Evolved, Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, Dead or Alive 3, Project Gotham Racing, and Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee.

Development
The Xbox was initially developed within Microsoft by a small team that included game developer Seamus Blackley. Microsoft repeatedly delayed the console, which was revealed at the end of 1999 following interviews of Microsoft CEO Bill Gates. Gates stated that a gaming/multimedia device was essential for multimedia convergence in the new times, confirmed by Microsoft with a press release.
According to the book Smartbomb, by Heather Chaplin and Aaron Ruby, the remarkable success of the upstart Sony PlayStation worried Microsoft in late 1990s. The growing video game market seemed to threaten the PC market which Microsoft had dominated and relied upon for most of its revenues. Additionally, a venture into the gaming console market would diversify Microsoft's product line, which up to that time had been heavily concentrated on software.
According to Dean Takahashi's book, Opening the Xbox, the Xbox was originally to be named "DirectX-box", to show the extensive use of DirectX within the console's technology."Xbox" was the final name decided by marketing, but the console still retains some hints towards DirectX, most notably the "X"-shaped logo, which DirectX is famous for, along with the "X" shape on the top of the system.
As the console approached launch, Microsoft's J Allard was responsible for the hardware and system software development, Ed Fries was responsible for game development on the platform, and Mitch Koch was responsible for sales and marketing; all three reported to Robbie Bach. This team was also primarily responsible for Microsoft's follow-up product, the Xbox 360, which could also play online.

HIstory About PS2 Console

Only a few million people had obtained consoles by the end of 2000 due to manufacturing delays. After its release, it was difficult to find PS2 units on retailer shelves.Another option was purchasing the console online through auction websites such as eBay, where people paid over one thousand dollars for a PS2.The PS2 initially sold well partly on the basis of the strength of the PlayStation brand and the console's backward compatibility, selling over 980,000 units by March 5, 2000, one day after launch, in Japan. This allowed the PS2 to tap the large install base established by the PlayStation — another major selling point over the competition. Later, Sony gained momentum with new development kits for game developers and more PS2 units for consumers.
A notable piece of advertising for the PS2 launch was accompanied by the popular "PS9" television commercial. 9 was to be the epitome of development, toward which the PS2 was the next step. The ad also prestaged the development of a portable PlayStation[citation needed] (first released in Japan on December 12, 2004).
Many analysts predicted a close three-way matchup between the PS2 and competitors Microsoft's Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube (GameCube being the cheapest of the three consoles and had an open market of games); however, the release of several blockbuster games during the 2001 holiday season maintained sales momentum and held off the PS2's rivals.Although Sony, unlike Sega with its Dreamcast, placed little emphasis on online gaming during its first years[citation needed], that changed upon the launch of the online-capable Xbox. Sony adapted in late 2002 to compete with Microsoft, with several online first–party titles released alongside it, such as SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs to demonstrate its active support for Internet play. Sony also advertised heavily, and its online model had the support of Electronic Arts. Although Sony and Nintendo both started out late, and although both followed a decentralized model of online gaming where the responsibility is up to the developer to provide the servers, Sony's attempt made online gaming a major selling point of the PS2.
In September 2004, in time for the launch of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Sony revealed a new, slimmer PS2 (see Hardware revisions). In preparation for the launch of a new, slimmer PS2 model (SCPH-70000; also known unofficially as the "PStwo"), Sony stopped making the older PS2 model (SCPH-5000x) during the summer of 2004 to let the distribution channel empty its stock of the units. After an apparent manufacturing issue caused some initial slowdown in producing the new unit, Sony reportedly underestimated demand, caused in part by shortages between the time the old units were cleared out and the new units were ready. The issue was compounded in Britain when a Russian oil tanker became stuck in the Suez Canal, blocking a ship from China carrying PS2s bound for the UK. During one week in November, British sales totaled 6,000 units — compared to 70,000 units a few weeks prior. There were shortages in more than 1700 stores in North America on the day before Christmas.
On November 29, 2005, the PS2 became the fastest game console to reach 100 million units shipped, accomplishing the feat within 5 years and 9 months from its launch. This achievement occurred faster than its predecessor, the PlayStation, which took 9 years and 6 months to reach the same benchmark.

PSP Console In Free Encyclopedia

The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated PSP) is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment.Development of the console was first announced during E3 2003,and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E3 2004.The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004,in North America on March 24, 2005,and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005.
The PlayStation Portable is the first handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage media.Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen, robust multi-media capabilities, and connectivity with the PlayStation 3, other PSPs, and the Internet.Despite the console's superior computing power and its multimedia capabilities, sales have consistently lagged behind its main competitor, the Nintendo DS.After the release of a remodeled, slimmer, and lighter version of the PlayStation Portable, appropriately titled Slim and Lite, in early September 2007, sales quadrupled in the United Kingdom the following week and increased by nearly 200% in North America for the month of October.

Rumor More Shots Of Sony PSP 3000

Remember those spy shots of a supposed new PSP model 3000? I hope so, as it was only yesterday that I showed them to you. Well it seems that more images have surfaced that suggest similar changes.
This time, instead of just the empty shell, we see what appears to be a working prototype of
the new PSP. You can see the smaller ring on the back side, mic and what appears to be a new PlayStation button where the home button used to be.
The significant change here is that the PlayStation button is round this time, making it very close to looking like the button from your PS3. I still think it’s a bit soon for Sony to be launching a new SKU, but who knows.

Nintendo Files Lawsuit Against DS Piracy Firms

Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against five Japanese companies for importing and selling portable DS piracy equipment.
Nintendo filed the lawsuit at the Tokyo District Court against five firms that are selling R4 cards which enable gamers to play illegal programs on the DS portable video game unit.

By: Jennifer HongJul 29, 2008 13:31 PM GMT

Nintendo Co Ltd said on Tuesday it had filed a lawsuit against five Japanese firms for importing and selling R4 equipment cards that enables illegal game programs to be played on the popular DS handheld video game console.
The lawsuit was filed at the Tokyo District Court along with 54 other software makers.
Reuters is reporting that the lawsuit against the 5 Japanese firms is for “importing and selling equipment that enables illegal game programs to be played on Nintendo’s popular DS portable video game player.”
R4 cards allow gamers to circumnavigate the DS’ in-built copy protection system. The devices have received much criticism in the UK over the past few weeks, with retailers calling for a total retail ban on R4 cards.

Wasabi Modchip In Public

The Wasabi promises to be the first Wii modchip to support all chipset revisions, from DMS to the latest D2C drives. It also boasts 128kB of flash memory for future firmware updates, a massive upgrade from other chips available on the market. The chip is advertised as being more stable compared to other D2C modchips. It requires only 9 wires to solder for D2C (and 5 for older chipsets), a sizeable step down from current modchips.
The website also notes that there are a few kilobytes of data stored on Wii optical discs that are not present in backups of Wii games. They claim that this data can be used by Nintendo to build a new copy protection, and that Wasabi can defend against this because the extra data can be stored in its high capacity flash memory.
Currently there is an issue with the Wasabi chip and a small amount of Wii's. An excerpt from the website reads:
"We are aware of an incompatibility problem with a small percentage of drives. The LED stays red even if the install is good, and using another chip doesn't solve the problem. The current work-around to solve the problem is to connect a 47µF capacitor between GND and K point. Our technical team is working on another solution. We apologize for the inconvenience, we'll post more info when available."

How To Use R4 DS Card

The R4 DS is revolutionizing the gaming world, for it enables you to load a lot of games to your DS. You will need a micro SD card which is not included. But everything else you need to get gaming is already at your fingertips.

Things You Must Need:<1>Computer;<2>R4 Flash Card;<3>Micro SD card.

Step1 Gather your supplies. If your computer does not have a slot for the micro SD card, use the USB adapter that comes with the R4;
Step2 Slip the micro SD card into the USB adapter that comes with the R4 and then insert the USB adapter into a USB port in your computer. Go to "My Computer" and click on "Removable Disc" for the drive that corresponds with the USB adapter. This will vary with each computer;
Step3 Remove the disc that comes with the R4 and load it into your computer. Copy the files from the disc onto the micro SD card;
Step4 Take the micro SD card from the USB adapter when all the transferral of files is complete. Slip it into the bottom of the R4;
Step5 Insert the R4 into the DS. Turn the DS on. If you used the R4 properly, the DS should go to the R4 screen;
Step6 Use the R4 DS to download games for your DS. You can create files on your computer which can then be loaded to the DS via the micro SD card or the R4.

Wiikey Modchip In Public

The Wiikey, released February 2007, was one of the first DVD-upgradeable modchips to be released for the Wii. It is a first generation chip, and can only be installed on systems with chipset revisions of D2B and older (including systems with “cut” IC legs). The Wiikey has six points to solder on to the DVD drive. This can be done either via wires or through the "quicksolder" method.
The Wiikey’s firmware works by a process of funneling through the debug serial port. This effectively tricks the DVD drive into believing that the backup is in fact genuine, much like current Xbox 360 chips do. Periodic firmware updates are released from the Wiikey development team, as well as configuration discs used to change the Wiikey settings. Both can be found on the Wiikey website.
In addition to complete original Wii functionality, including system updates and online game play, the Wiikey packs an impressive list of features.

Microsoft Gives A New XBOX360 Experience

Despite ostensibly having what is regarded as one of the best user interfaces of all the major consoles, Microsoft is reinventing the Xbox 360's look. The underlying Xbox Live foundation will remain the same, but Microsoft wants to make life even better for users by making existing features easier to find and use, removing clutter from the marketplace, and vastly improving the social experience of Live.
The first major change to the system involves basic navigation. The top-level channels now consist of six items that closely resemble the menu structure of Windows Media Center: Spotlight, Games, My Xbox, Primetime, Community, and Videos. Each option contains additional functionality in submenu options and contains major innovations that we'll detail below.
Users who are familiar with the traditional five-bladed menu structures will be relieved to find that the old system remains intact--they appear whenever you press the Guide button on the gamepad. Pressing the button pops up a miniature version of the original blade system. The new miniblades will be accessible anywhere, even while in a game.
Microsoft is banking heavily on its new Primetime feature, a brand-new area that gives users a whole new way to play games together. Virtual gameshows are the name of the game here. Microsoft has already demonstrated 1 vs. 100, a game of mental king of the hill against a hundred other opponents. Microsoft will introduce other gameshow-related games to Primetime. Some events will even feature live hosts and offer prizes to keep the gameshow charm. Primetime will let you either participate in the action as a competitor or play along silently as a spectator.

With the DSTT you can play downloaded and backup NDS roms as well as view movies and run homebrew. It can also be used as a usb flash stick and transflash/micro sd reader. The only other item you need to begin using the DSTT is a micro sd or transflash memory card.It supports the larger sdhc micro sd card as well as the standard micro sd cards.
As with all of the new generation of Nintendo DS Flash Cartridges, it is very simple to use. To play your downloaded backup games, there are only a few steps.

Argon Modchip In Public

The InFeCtuS Argon Wii is based on an 350 MHz Actel A3P-125 FPGA, which is programmable through a JTAG connector - in conjunction with either an InFeCtuS 2 device or an Injectus programmer. It has features similar to the D2CKey, and as of firmware v1.3 supports region-free play.
The InFeCtuS team have said a soon to be released firmware will lower the wire count from 16 to 10 for the D2C chipset as a result of the new competition from the Wasabi modchip. It will also introduce support for all the current Wii chipsets rather than just the D2C chipset (wire count for non-D2C chipsets will be 6). Also the update will grant the ability to upgrade the modchips firmware via DVD - despite InFeCtuS recommending the JTAG connector as the preferred upgrade method.

Brief Installation Of D2pro Modchip

New d2pro chip from the manufacturers of D2CKey - for the D2C chipset called D2PRO. D2Pro Installation is only 15 wires, and is as stable as D2Ckey. Wii Consoles In The Free Encyclopedia

The Wii (pronounced as the English pronoun we, IPA: /wiː/) is the fifth home video game console released by Nintendo. The console is the direct successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo states that its console targets a broader demographic than that of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3.It competes with both as part of the seventh generation of video game systems.
A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions. Another is WiiConnect24, which enables it to receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode.
Nintendo first spoke of the console at the 2004 E3 press conference and later unveiled the system at the 2005 E3. Satoru Iwata revealed a prototype of the controller at the September 2005 Tokyo Game Show.At E3 2006, the console won the first of several awards.By December 8, 2006, it had completed its launch in four key markets. The Financial Times reported that as of September 12, 2007, the Wii is the sales leader of its generation, based on sales figures from Enterbrain, NPD Group, and GfK.

Modchips Infectus 2 For Wii Released

Well the wait is over and we finally have the successor to the famous Infectus modchip, the latest and greatest mod chip to date from Team Infectus is here. The Infectus 2 like the former model from the team is a universal mod chip and programmer for all most all consoles in the market. It can be used on PS2, Wii, Xbox 360 as a mod chip or also as a nand programmer and more. Right now we would have to say the most popular use for the Infectus mod chip would be for Xbox 360 and the just recently added support for the Wii. Because of the release of Argon, we mainly see its primary use being for the Xbox 360. The Infectus range are the first chips in history to function on more then one brand of console, this feet alone deserves some respect. The guys at team Infectus really are a talented bunch of guys that help pioneer the industry in many ways. We have not doubt the guy will get the Infectus 2 modchip working on PS3 this year, and possibly some very cool stuff with Xbox 360 Nand flashing. The primary use for Infectus 2 on Xbox 360 right now is as a drive chip similar to the NME range, which is a good thing as it’s nice to have a choice between chips when really there is so few on the market. But don’t be mistaken, these puppy’s are a lot harder to install on the 360 then the NME, but with saying that, if you just wanted a standard chip you probably would not be reading this page anyway.---------get from website

Definition Of Modchip From Encyclopedia

A modchip (short for modification chip) is a small electronic device used to modify or disable built-in restrictions and limitations of many popular videogame consoles. It introduces various modifications to its host system's function, including the circumvention of region coding, digital rights management, and copy protection checks for the purpose of running software intended for other markets, copied game media, or unlicensed third-party (homebrew) software. Modchips are mainly used in CD/DVD-based videogame systems due to the availability and low cost of user-writable media. In addition to games consoles, modchips are also available for some DVD players to circumvent region code enforcement and user operration prohibitions.
